Welcome to race day at the Hungaroring, where the Hungarian Grand Prix marks the 13th round of the 2005 FIA Formula One World Championship.

It is a little cooler than yesterday, but the ambient temperature high is expected to reach 32 degrees Celsius, so the drivers and teams can still look forward to the sort of broiling conditions that make this one of the physically toughest events of the season.

The 4.381 km circuit is unchanged since 2004 when Michael Schumacher took pole position for Ferrari in 1m 19.146s, before winning easily and setting a new lap record at 1m 19.071s.

The race will run over 70 laps (306.663 km) and will start at 1400 hrs local time, which is two hours ahead of GMT.
