Adrian Burgess leaves Midland 06 Apr 2006
The Midland Formula One team have announced the immediate departure of sporting director Adrian Burgess due to a planned internal re-structure. Burgess took up the position in May of 2005, the teams first season following their takeover of Jordan.
"Adrian's experience and expertise were very helpful to us during the team's transition season," said Managing Director, Colin Kolles. "We wish him every success as he leaves to pursue other challenges, and we fully expect to see him back in the F1 paddock before too long."
Midlands internal re-structuring plan provides for re-allocation of Burgess's duties between team manager, Andy Stevenson, and chief race and test engineer, Dominic Harlow.
