Wolfmother added to Australia bill 08 Feb 2007
Australian band-of-the-moment, Wolfmother, are to perform a special concert in Melbournes Albert Park at next months Australian Grand Prix meeting. The Saturday performance will be free to all general admission ticket holders.
With New Zealand rockers Evermore already announced to play on race day, Wolfmother join a growing entertainment line-up for the Grand Prix weekend, which organisers hope will be the most exciting in the Melbourne events 11-year history.
Were thrilled to have secured two of the hottest bands around right now in Wolfmother and Evermore and know that their performance will enhance what is already the nations premier sporting event, said Tim Bamford, CEO of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
Our team has been working hard to make sure that this years event will be bigger and better than ever before. We want people to come to this years Grand Prix and leave with memories that will last them a lifetime.
