Heidfeld to continue at Magny-Cours 30 Jun 2007
BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld is due to participate in Saturday’s practice and qualifying sessions for the French Grand Prix, despite complaining of back pain following Friday’s running.
Heidfeld cut short his Friday programme after aggravating an injury sustained in recent testing at Silverstone. However, after being examined at the Centre Hopitalier Pierre Beregovoy in Nevers and receiving treatment overnight, the German is expecting no further problems.
BMW Sauber’s reserve driver Sebastian Vettel, remains on standby, should Heidfeld’s injury recur.
