Four days of McLaren testing for DTMs Di Resta 08 Oct 2008
Scottish DTM driver Paul di Resta is testing with McLaren for two days this week under the young driver programme that allows Formula One teams to assess up-and-coming talent outside of normal testing restrictions. Di Resta will get a further two days in the McLaren cockpit later this month.
Currently second in the drivers' rankings in his second season of DTM - Germanys premier touring car championship - with Mercedes-Benz, 22-year-old Di Resta is no stranger to single-seater success, having won the Formula 3 EuroSeries in 2006.
Di Resta, recipient of the McLaren / Autosport / BRDC Young Driver of the Year award in 2005, will complete his four days with McLaren on October 20-21.
