Kubica shocked and saddened by Polish tragedy 12 Apr 2010
The Renault team and their Polish driver Robert Kubica have expressed their condolences to the Polish nation following Saturdays plane crash that cost the lives of the countrys President Lech Kaczynski, his wife and many others.
Kaczynski and 95 others, including many top defence officials and public figures, died when the jet came down en route to a war memorial service in Russia.
I am deeply shocked and saddened by the news of this tragedy, which is unprecedented for our nation, said Kubica. A day of remembrance for the victims of Katyn has become one of deep mourning for the people of Poland. I send my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims and my thoughts are with every one of my fellow Poles, who have all been deeply affected by this tragedy.
