Caterham look set to be the first team to unveil their 2012 car - and in a rather novel fashion. The CT01 will be the cover star on the February edition of F1 Racing magazine, which goes on sale next Thursday, January 26. There will be further pictures inside the magazine, and the team will also be posting shots on their official Facebook and Twitter pages.

The CT01 is the third F1 machine produced by the Norfolk-based team, and the first since they changed their name from Team Lotus to Caterham over the winter. Having finished a strong tenth in the 2011 constructors’ standings, Tony Fernandes’ squad hope the car will lift them firmly into the 2012 midfield.

Like its predecessor, the T128, the CT01 will be Renault powered and will be raced by Finland’s Heikki Kovalainen and Italy’s Jarno Trulli, the latter having dismissed media speculation that he could yet be replaced by former Renault star Vitaly Petrov before the season gets underway in March.
