Maldonado takes grid penalty after Perez incident 26 May 2012
Williams Pastor Maldonado will drop ten places on the grid for Sundays Monaco Grand Prix after stewards penalised the Venezuelan for an incident in Saturday mornings final practice session.
Maldonado made contact with Saubers Sergio Perez just prior to the tunnel entrance, after passing but then seeming to move across on the Mexican. A little while later, Maldonado crashed out of the session in a separate incident after losing control at Casino Square.
Michael Schumacher also goes into qualifying with a grid penalty. The Mercedes driver will drop five places for causing a collision with Maldonados team mate, Bruno Senna, at the last round in Spain.
