Gearbox penalty for Webber 21 Jul 2012
Mark Webber is set to take a five-place grid penalty for Sundays Hockenheim race after Red Bull decided to change the gearbox on his car ahead of Saturdays final practice session.
The team investigated a transmission issue overnight before opting to replace the box. Lotuss Romain Grosjean and Mercedes Nico Rosberg already have identical penalties for this weekends German event.
Current regulations require gearboxes to last five Grand Prix weekends.
