1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 We are Formula One Digital Media Limited of No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH (“we”, “us”, “our”, and the “Promoter”). We and our group companies own the exclusive right to commercialise the FIA Formula One World Championship® in all media. We are the promoter of the Game.

1.2 “You”, “your”, and the “participant” means the individual entering the Game.

1.3 “MSC” means MSC CRUISES S.A. a company incorporated in Switzerland (number CHE-112.808.35) whose registered office is at Avenue Eugene-Pittard 40, 1206 Geneva, Switzerland.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1.4 In order to enter the Game, you must have access to the internet and an F1 Unlocked account (and such account has a valid verified address connected with it). Registration must be made with an F1 Unlocked account associated with a valid and verified email address. You are responsible for ensuring the contact details on your account are up to date. If your account does not have a valid email address, your entry will be void and you will not be eligible to win any prize.

1.5 By registering to participate in the Game, you accept and agree to be bound by and to abide by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”), the F1 Privacy Policy (available at https://account.formula1.com/#/en/privacy-policy), the F1 Digital Products Terms of Use (available at https://account.formula1.com/#/en/terms-of-use), as well as all applicable laws. You should read these Terms and Conditions before using or entering the Game.

1.6 These Terms and Conditions may be amended or modified, or new conditions may be imposed, at any time. Any such changes or additions will be reflected by an update of this page. You are therefore advised to check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Game following the posting of changes to these Terms and Conditions will mean you accept those changes and that such changes shall apply to your use of the Game after such changes have been posted.

2. WHAT IS THE GAME

2.1 F1 Trivia Tour sponsored by MSC (the “Game”) is an interactive game available here (the “Website”) in which players are presented with eight (8) trivia questions about the FIA Formula One World Championship per Round.

3. WHO CAN ENTER THE GAME

3.1 Subject to Paragraph 7.1 below, this Game is only open to entrants who:

a) are aged 21 and above;

b) have access to the internet and an F1 Unlocked account (and such account has a valid verified email address connected with it);

c) are, subject to Paragraph 3.2(c) and (d), residents of the UK, EU, USA (50 States plus D.C., but excluding the State of New York, USA and the State of Florida, USA), or Canada (excluding Quebec) and other territories where its operation and the Prize(s) are permitted; and

d) where the Prize involves attendance at an event, be able to legally enter the country where the relevant event is being held (for the avoidance of doubt, if a visa and/or a valid passport are necessary for you to legally enter the country, you must be (i) eligible to obtain a visa; and (ii) hold a valid passport). Where operation of this Game is not permitted by applicable law or regulation, this Game shall not be operated and residents of such jurisdictions are not permitted to enter.

3.2 The Game is not open to:

a) employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter, their group companies or family members, freelance contributors, anyone else connected to the Game and their family members;

b) public officials (as defined by applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010) and anyone connected to them;

c) residents of any countries subject to USA, UK or EU sanctions, including for example residents of Russia and Belarus; and

d) residents of Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Poland, the Canadian province of Quebec, and Spain, and any territories where this Game’s operation and the Prize(s) are not permitted by applicable law or regulation.

3.3 In entering the Game, you confirm that you are eligible to do so in accordance with Paragraphs 3.1 and 3.2. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Game.

4. HOW TO ENTER

4.1 Each round of the Game (together constituting the Game, each a “Round”) will run in accordance with the following table from the “Opening Date” to the “Closing Date” inclusive (the “Entry Period”). Entries received outside the Entry Period are void and will not be eligible to win any Prize.

4.2 In order to enter a Round of the Game, you must during the Entry Period and prior to the Closing Date:

a) visit the Game webpage using the following link;

b) sign in to your (or create an) F1 Unlocked or F1.com account;

c) answer the eight (8) trivia questions; and

d) submit the following details: (i) your favourite driver; and (ii) your favourite team, on the Game webpage.

4.3 After the Closing Date, each player that validly completed: (i) all three (3) Rounds of the Game will be entered into a draw for the Grand Prize; and (ii) one (1) or more Rounds of the Game will be entered into a draw for the Tickets Prizes. The winner(s) shall be determined in accordance with Paragraph 5.2.

4.5 Only one (1) entry per person and per F1 Unlocked account is permitted per Round of the Game. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Entries must not be made by agents or third parties. Each winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning entry. Any attempt to enter more than one (1) time by use of multiple names, email accounts, or any other means is grounds for disqualification.

4.6 We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Any such entries will be deemed void. Proof of submission or delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

5. PRIZES

5.1 We may choose to award prizes in respect of the Game. Such prizes will be available at our discretion and in accordance with criteria set by us. Entries into each Round of the Game shall be subject to the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

5.2 To determine each winner, a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall take place for the Prizes listed at Paragraph 5.6. The Grand Prize will be drawn first, followed by each Tickets Prize. The winner of the Grand Prize shall not be eligible to win a Tickets Prize. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received.

5.3 The draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place at our offices at No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH no later than the day seven (7) days after the relevant Closing Date for that Round.

5.4 Each winner of the Game will be contacted via email in accordance with Paragraph 6. You must provide a valid email address at the time of entering the Game. Any entry received without a valid email address will be void and you will not be eligible to win any Prize. All personal data provided by you when entering the Game will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy as per Paragraph 7.4.

5.5 No purchase is necessary to enter the Game and purchase of any item does not enhance your chance of winning.

5.6 Provided that each winner complies with these Terms and Conditions, we intend (but do not undertake) for the following prizes to be available:

• a travel voucher for one (1) 7-nights Alaska cruise onboard MSC Poesia departing from Seattle, for winner and one (1) guest in an MSC YACHT CLUB INTERIOR SUITE (or such other stateroom as determined by MSC) (the “Grand Prize”) which will be provided by MSC. The winner can choose from the available departure dates on MSC’s website from April to September and the voucher is valid for one (1) year from the date of issue to the winner of the Grand Prize. Transportation (including inbound and outbound flights to and from Seattle), service charge, insurance, government fees and taxes, pre and post accommodations, and personal expenses are not included. Confirmation of sailing date and stateroom assignment at the discretion of MSC. This award voucher cannot be reassigned or redeemed for cash, nor combined with other offers;

• five (5) sets of two (2) grandstand tickets to a Formula 1 Grand Prix during the 2027 FIA Formula One World Championship of the winner’s choice (each a “Tickets Prize”) which will be provided by us, but excluding the Formula 1 Grands Prix held in Singapore, Australia, Monaco, Miami, Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi and any such other Formula 1 Grands Prix as may be determined by us from time to time. In each case above, both tickets must be for the same Formula 1 Grand Prix and are subject to availability. In case of no availability for the winner’s preferred Grand Prix, the winner shall be asked for their second, third etc. preference until a Grand Prix with availability has been found. The specific grandstand and seat location shall be subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to select the seat location on the winner's behalf; (each a “Prize” and together the “Prizes”).

5.7 The Prizes listed in Paragraph 5.6 above consist of the relevant Prize only and do not include any associated costs or expenses not specifically listed including, but not limited to, internet connectivity, travel, visas (or other travel documentation), insurance, transfers to and from airports, stations or ports, food and drink, spending money, or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to and including those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner. We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with any Prize that are not expressly included in Paragraph 5.6 above.

5.8 The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including customs duty, levies and/or other import fees to which any Prize may be subject, and any taxes imposed on their income.

5.9 Anyone participating in the Prize must be at least 21 years of age. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary arrangements; all travel accommodations are subject to availability. Winner and guest must possess all necessary documents for travel.

5.10 The approximate retail value for each Prize is as follows:

a) the Grand Prize has an approximate retail value of up to $7,000 (SEVEN THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS); and

b) each Tickets Prize has an approximate retail value of $2,000 (TWO THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS);

5.11 All Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize. Any difference between actual value and a variable value noted above will not be awarded.

5.12 We reserve the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of the Prize) with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original Prize offered is/are not available. No responsibility is assumed for cancellation or postponement of an event or any other Prize-related activities due to causes beyond our control. In the event of any such cancellation or postponement, we shall not be responsible and that portion of the Prize will not be awarded and no additional compensation will be provided, and the remaining portion(s) of the Prize will be awarded as the complete award to the winner.

5.13 The Prize is subject to compliance with the terms and conditions which attach to the relevant Prize (or relevant part of the Prize) from time to time (whether third party terms and conditions or our own terms and conditions) and we shall not be liable or held responsible for any winner’s or their invited guest’s failure or inability to comply with such terms and conditions.

5.14 The Prize as set out above and awarded to the winner shall not be used or dealt with in any way that is incompatible with any applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the winner hereby acknowledges and agrees that no Prize (including any Formula 1 event tickets) issued pursuant to these Terms and Conditions may be sold or offered for sale or other form of reward or incentive to any third party.

6. WINNER

6.1 The winner will be notified that they have won (but may be notified later if selected in accordance with Paragraphs 6.2 and 6.3 below) by email (to the email address connected to their F1 Unlocked account) and provided further details as to how they will be able to claim their Prize as follows: (a) where a random draw is required pursuant to Paragraph 5.2 above, no later than ten (10) working days after the random draw has taken place; or (b) otherwise no later than ten (10) working days after the relevant Closing Date for that Round.

6.2 If the winner does not respond to us and/or take reasonable steps to follow our instructions on how to claim their Prize within seven (7) days of being notified of their win and provided with such instructions, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have to respond to notification of their win and/or take reasonable steps to follow our instructions on how to claim their Prize within seven (7) days of notification or provision of instructions or else they will also forfeit their Prize).

6.3 If the winner rejects their Prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner.

6.4 The decision of the judges regarding any aspect of the Game and/or award of the Prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.5 Proof that a valid winner was awarded can be obtained after the closing date of the Game by sending an email to fanexperiences@f1.com with “F1 Trivia Tour sponsored by MSC” in the subject line.

7. PUBLICITY AND YOUR DATA

7.1 Each winner consents to the use by us and our related companies, and MSC both before and after the Closing Date of the relevant Round of the Game for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, still and moving images and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by us and our related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Game, you consent to the same. Residents of Tennessee or any other U.S. state or other jurisdiction in which it is unlawful to require agreement to a perpetual publicity release as a condition of winning a Prize shall not be bound by this Paragraph 7.1 to the extent it is lawful.

7.2 The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity, promotional and media activities as may be requested by the Promoter and/or MSC. Such activities may include, without limitation, appearing in photography and videography, providing one or more quotes or testimonials for media, marketing, advertising or promotional purposes, and participating in media interviews or similar activities, at such times and locations as may be reasonably agreed between the winner and the relevant requesting party. The winner acknowledges that no additional fee or compensation shall be payable for participating in such activities, subject always to applicable law.

7.3 Promoter acknowledges that the winner may post content sharing their personal experiences at a race (subject to any applicable ticket terms and conditions that apply to the applicable event). The winner agrees that such content shall not bring the Promoter, Formula 1 or MSC into disrepute and such content shall not reasonably risk causing material harm to such parties’ reputation or interests.

7.4 We will use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering the Game in accordance with data protection legislation and applicable law, as described in our privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://account.formula1.com/#/en/privacy-policy, and any other privacy policies we may provide to you from time to time. The information supplied by you in the associated entry form will be used as described on the entry form. By entering the Game, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions and the F1 Privacy Policy. Where a Prize is provided by a third party, you may be asked to provide your details to such third party in order for that third party to deliver your Prize.

7.5 Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from any person other than us, your details may be passed to such person(s) and organisation(s) that you have consented to receiving marketing communications from.

7.6 We will only share your personal data with a third party in accordance with the F1 Privacy Policy and as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

8. PROHIBITED BEHAVIOURS

8.1 You may not attempt to cheat or manipulate the Game in any way.

8.2 You may not attempt to modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or disassemble any of the Game software in any way.

8.3 The use of bots or software programs which replace the user in participating in the Game is strictly prohibited.

8.4 You warrant and agree that you shall not:

a) upload, post, publish, transmit, reproduce, distribute or in any way exploit any information or other material obtained through the Game for commercial purposes (other than as expressly permitted by the provider of such information or other material);

b) restrict or inhibit any other user from participating in and enjoying the Game;

c) use automated systems to access and/or extract information from the Game software;

d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other computer systems through the Game; or

e) bring us or the Game into disrepute.

8.5 Except as otherwise expressly permitted herein, you may not upload, post, publish, reproduce, transmit or distribute in any way any component of the Game itself or derivative works with respect thereto.

9. BREACH

9.1 Any breach by you of the F1 Digital Product Terms of Use from time to time shall also be a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

9.2 In the event of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to:

a) permanently or temporarily refuse you entry to the Game;

b) disqualify you from the Game;

c) modify, delete and/or suspend your entry; and/or

d) delete all related information associated with your entry.

9.3 All such decisions by us will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9.4 If you are barred or disqualified from entering the Game, you shall not be eligible to participate in the Game under any other identity. Any such decision by us shall be final.

10. RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY

10.1 The Game is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, express or implied.

10.2 We operate with reasonable care and professional skill in making the Game available but cannot give any warranty about the functionality, availability, or performance of the Game.

10.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) liability arising from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other reason or by any cause which cannot be lawfully excluded.

10.4 We (and our related companies) accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Game or accepting any Prize. We (and our related companies) further disclaim any liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Game.

10.5 We shall not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations relating to the Game where the failure is caused by something outside our reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, epidemic, pandemic, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

10.6 We make no guarantee that the Game shall be available at all times and no warranty as to the accurateness or completeness of any of the content on the Game.

10.7 You are responsible for all internet connection costs and/or all other costs associated with the use of the Game on your computer or smartphone/tablet. You should check the connection fees with your internet provider or with your mobile data provider before using the Game.

11. MISCELLANEOUS

11.1 We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Game with or without prior notice at any time for any reason (including, without limitation, reasons outside our reasonable control and in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud); provided that in such circumstances we will endeavour, to the extent reasonably possible, to award the Prize in a fair and equitable manner among any entries received not affected by the problem. In the event that we permanently discontinue the Game pursuant to this Paragraph 11.1, you shall be released from your obligations to us under these Terms and Conditions.

11.2 If any provision or part-provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms and Conditions.

11.3 If there is any ambiguity around the meaning or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions as they are translated into different languages, it is the meaning or interpretation as defined in the English language version that will prevail.

11.4 The Game and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. However, you may have statutory or legal rights in the territory where you live which may apply to your entry in the Game in some circumstances.
