Lawrence BarrettoAudi like to cause a splash when they take on a motorsport project – and they’ve done just that with news they are upping their acquisition from a majority stake in the Sauber F1 team to a complete takeover.
This not only proves their commitment to Formula 1 but more their desire to become a winning force, rather than just making up the numbers, as soon as possible when they enter with their own power unit in 2026.
To achieve that, they have some work to do.
