F2: Doohan secures back-to-back Feature Race wins in Spa as Pourchaire regains championship lead
Alpine junior Jack Doohan took fully advantage of a well-timed Safety Car appearance to snatch his second consecutive Feature Race victory and throw himself right into title contention.
Starting P11 on the alternate strategy, his pit stop put him right behind Theo Pourchaire for a second Safety Car restart after contact between Jak Crawford and Juan Manuel Correa. Having the faster soft tyres bolted on, the Australian had the pace advantage he needed to blitz past into the lead with two full laps remaining.
Pourchaire had to settle for second, but more importantly, seized the championship lead by 12 points. His nearest rival Frederik Vesti failed to make his front row start after crashing out on the reconnaissance lap. Enzo Fittipaldi returned to the podium in third, edging out his Rodin Carlin team mate Zane Maloney on the final lap.

Victor Martins crossed the finish line in third, but a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane demoted him to fourth.
Richard Verschoor secured points for Van Amersfoort Racing in sixth ahead of pole-sitter Oliver Bearman, who held firm off the line but fell behind Pourchaire at the pit stop. The PREMA Racing driver then received a five-second time penalty for causing a collision with Martins.
Kush Maini put together a stellar fight back, rocketing up from P19 to P8 on the alternate strategy, as did Roman Stanek in ninth. Ralph Boschung rounded out the points for Campos Racing in 10th.
