FP1 HIGHLIGHTS: Check out the best action as the Styrian GP weekend kicks off
Sergio Perez showed that Racing Point aren’t messing around in 2020, as he headed Free Practice 1 for the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, pipping the Red Bull of Max Verstappen by 0.096s to the top spot.
As Formula 1 began its first ever consecutive race weekend at the same venue, there were problems for Williams’ Nicholas Latifi, who was forced to park up his FW43 at the side of the track – while FP1 for the Styrian Grand Prix also witnessed the race weekend debut of Jack Aitken in the other Williams, as Robert Kubica returned to the cockpit, taking over the Alfa Romeo of Antonio Giovinazzi.
