FP1 HIGHLIGHTS: All the action from the first practice session of the 2021 season at the Bahrain GP
Formula 1 is back after the long winter break, with the drivers hitting the Bahrain International circuit on Friday for the first practice session of 2021.
And as they did in pre-season testing two weeks ago, it was Red Bull that led the way, with Max Verstappen posting the fastest time of the new, shortened one hour FP1 session - down from 90 minutes from last year.

The Dutchman was just ahead of Valtteri Bottas on the time sheets, as Mercedes look to get their car sorted after a tricky time at testing.
Lando Norris was third quickest for McLaren, just ahead of reigning champion Lewis Hamilton.
