Max Verstappen topped final practice ahead of qualifying for the Sakhir Grand Prix, as the drivers had one last chance to dial in their cars before the fight for grid places begins.

    Valtteri Bottas got his weekend back on track, finishing second fastest in FP3 after a messy Friday saw him lag behind his temporary team mate George Russell in the timesheets.

    As for Russell – who was fastest in both sessions on Friday on his very first outing in the Mercedes W11 – he was seventh quickest, behind Alex Albon in the second Red Bull.
