GALLERY: Alfa Romeo unveil special Italian-themed livery for Monza
Alfa Romeo have a proud history at Monza – they won the first world championship race there with Nino Farina in 1950, which simultaneously clinched the Italian the inaugural drivers’ crown. And to celebrate that special heritage and Italian pride in general, the team have added a splash of green to their usual paintjob for this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix. Check out the one-off look that Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi will sport in Monza in the gallery above…
“It’s not a big difference, but it’s quite an Italian difference! The car looks great and it’s good to do something for a one-off race,” commented Raikkonen.
Giovinazzi added: “I can’t wait to drive this. It’s so cool and it’s a great way to celebrate the Italian Grand Prix, our home race.”
