After launches, shakedowns and various filming days, the paddock convened at the Bahrain International Circuit for three days of running, with teams and drivers bidding to learn as much as they can about their new cars.

After the green light switched on at the end of the pit lane at 1000 local time, all 10 cars were quick to hit the circuit, albeit with Aston Martin reserve driver Felipe Drugovich stopping early on amid apparent technical problems.
