Gasly reveals his home was ‘robbed and trashed’ while he was away racing

Pierre Gasly returned from Formula 1’s latest triple header to find his home in Normandy had been burgled and ransacked.
The Frenchman has been on the road for the last three weeks, first racing twice at Silverstone and then heading to Barcelona for last weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix.
On returning home, the AlphaTauri driver said on social media he found his home had been "robbed and trashed" and a host of items, including engraved watches, racing helmets, clothes and jewellery had been taken.

He has appealed for anyone with information to get in touch with him via his social media.
“Some people are really worthless, disrespectful and contemptible,” he said.
The Frenchman has been in great form on track so far this season, finishing ninth at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, his third points finish of the year.
