Haas officially show off VF-23 ahead of pre-season testing as Hulkenberg reveals new helmet

Haas have formally presented their new F1 challenger, the VF-23, ahead of pre-season testing getting under way at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Haas were the first team to launch for 2023 with a livery reveal at the end of January, before sharing photos of a shakedown at Silverstone and an extra outing in Sakhir.

On Thursday morning, shortly before the first session of 2023 pre-season testing, Haas shared another look at their latest creation by wheeling it out into the pit lane for the awaiting media.
Haas will field Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg in 2023, with Pietro Fittipaldi continuing as reserve
In addition to a new car, Haas have a new driver line-up this year as Nico Hulkenberg returns to F1 – and takes the place of Mick Schumacher – to partner the continuing Kevin Magnussen.
In another Thursday morning reveal, Hulkenberg’s helmet for his comeback season was unveiled via social media, with the design featuring vibrant flashes of orange and a sizeable print of his nickname – ‘Hulk’.

Hulkenberg and Magnussen will be looking to combine and continue Haas’s recent upward F1 trajectory after the team rose from the foot of the constructors’ standings to P8 last season.
