Max Verstappen showed impressive pace in Free Practice 3 for the Monaco Grand Prix, lapping 0.073s ahead of his Red Bull team mate Sergio Perez with a time of 1m 12.776s. Lance Stroll took third spot for Aston Martin, ahead of Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.
There were problems for Lewis Hamilton, who with just a handful of minutes to go in the hour-long session lost the rear end of his updated Mercedes at the exit of Mirabeau, the seven-time champion correcting the slide but then slewing into the barriers and bringing out a red flag.
