HIGHLIGHTS: Relive the first practice session at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Watch the highlights of the first practice session of the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix – as Charles Leclerc set the early pace at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Bahrain Grand Prix winner Leclerc set the fastest time of the practice session in the closing stages with a 1m 30.772s, just over a tenth ahead of rival Max Verstappen.
Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas continued his fine start to the season by setting the third-fastest time of the session – ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz in fourth.
The session was temporarily stopped due to a red flag as Lando Norris hit a brake marker, which caused debris to be scattered across the track at Turn 1.
Kevin Magnussen was the only driver not to make an appearance in the session as his car was confined to the pits due to a hydraulics problem.
