After the excitement of a great race at Imola two weeks ago, the Formula 1 circus arrived in Portugal this week for the first double header of the year, with the Spanish Grand Prix following this weekend's race in Portimao.
And in the opening session of the weekend things were just as tight at the top as they were at the opening two races of the year, with Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas just 0.025s ahead of the Red Bull of Max Verstappen.

Sergio Perez was just behind his team mate, with Charles Leclerc fourth quickest for Ferrari, just ahead of championship leader Lewis Hamilton.
