Lewis Hamilton was in superb form at Monza on Saturday afternoon as he sealed his 94th career pole position ahead of the Italian Grand Prix.
The Mercedes man just shaded his team mate Valtteri Bottas for top spot on the grid, while Carlos Sainz took an excellent P3 for McLaren, ahead of Racing Point's Sergio Perez.

Red Bull failed to take a spot on the first two rows with Max Verstappen only fifth quickest, alongside Lando Norris in the second McLaren.
Daniel Ricciardo, Lance Stroll, Alex Albon and Pierre Gasly completed the top ten, with Ferrari down in 13th with Charles Leclerc and 17th with Sebastian Vettel, in a hugely disappointing display for the Scuderia at their home race.
