HIGHLIGHTS: Watch the action as Mercedes take a 1-2 in FP3 in Mexico City
It was a Mercedes one-two in the final practice session of the Mexico City Grand Prix, with George Russell leading the way ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton.
Russell put in a fastest lap of 1m 18.399s to lead Hamilton by 0.114s, with Max Verstappen, 0.477s off the pace, rounding out the top three. Charles Leclerc was fourth quickest in the session, ahead of home favourite Sergio Perez, in fifth.
Carlos Sainz was sixth fastest, ahead of Lando Norris in seventh, Valtteri Bottas in eighth, the AlphaTauri of Yuki Tsunoda in ninth, and Williams' Alex Albon rounding out the top 10.
There were no red flags in the session although we did see a few drivers run wide on track, while Mick Schumacher spun at Turn 10 – but fortunately for the Haas racer, he managed to keep it out of the barriers.
