MUST-SEE: Ride onboard with the Safety Car to check out the Albert Park track changes
Albert Park has undergone its most dramatic alteration since joining the F1 calendar back in 1996, with corners reprofiled, resurfaced and – in one case – removed altogether to improve the racing spectacle.
The changes weren’t come up with by just anyone, mind, with the likes of Damon Hill (winner of that 1996 race), Daniel Ricciardo, two-time Australian GP winner David Coulthard and Mark Webber all having consulted on the updates to the track.
Ride onboard with the Safety Car in the video up top to see what’s changed ahead of this weekend’s action at Albert Park.
