RACE DEBRIEF

Racing Point will descend on the Austrian town of Mondsee on February 17 for the launch of their 2020 campaign.

Racing Point’s driver pairing of Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll will be on hand to kick off the team’s season in the hometown of key sponsors BWT, before travelling to Barcelona and the Circuit de Catalunya for the start of winter testing on February 19.

The Silverstone-based team's 2020 car is an important one for the team, who will be looking to kick on in the constructors’ fight in their second full season since being purchased by a consortium led by Stroll’s father Lawrence midway through 2018.

Racing Point finished the 2019 season in P7 in the constructors’ championship, 12 points adrift of Toro Rosso.
