From the rain of qualifying to the blue skies of the race, Canada delivered a topsy turvy weekend that saw plenty of drama throughout the field. With two Virtual Safety Car periods and one appearance from the Safety Car itself for good measure, strategy was hard to call – and as such, the airwaves were full of chatter…

Yuki Tsunoda had to apologise to the team after his race ended in the barriers, while Fernando Alonso’s afternoon was disrupted by an increasingly frustrating engine issue. But there was joy for Zhou Guanyu as he managed a best ever result, and Mercedes were also left happy with their lot after bringing home a podium.
