TECH TALK: Looking in detail at Racing Point's controversial brake ducts following Renault’s protest

The big talking point from last week's Styrian Grand Prix weekend was Renault's protest of the brake ducts on Racing Point's RP20 car, which they contend are copies of those used on last year's Mercedes W10.
So what exactly is Renault's protest based on? Are they likely to see their protest upheld by the Formula 1 stewards? And could the ruling have a knock-on effect on some of the other teams?
