VISOR CAM: Must-see footage as Alonso tackles spectacular Suzuka in the rain

Fernando Alonso topped the timesheets during a wet opening practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix, with F1’s visor cam picking up all the action from his Alpine cockpit.

After heavy rain hit Suzuka in the build up to FP1, wet and intermediate tyres were used throughout the first 60 minutes of track action – Alonso emerging quickest with a time of 1m 42.248s.

During the session, a special camera fitted to Alonso’s visor captured some incredible footage as the two-time world champion tackled the popular figure-of-eight venue.
