Ahead of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, we decided to go through the archives and pick out some of the most memorable moments from the Autodromo Nazionale Monza – which turns 100 years old in 2022.
With Monza a mainstay on the F1 calendar since the birth of the world drivers' championship back in 1950, there's been plenty of action and excitement throughout the decades at the high-speed venue also known as the 'Temple of Speed'.

The moments that made our top-five list include a famous Ferrari one-two in 1988 after McLaren's Ayrton Senna got caught up in a collision, an emotional maiden victory for Pierre Gasly in 2020 and a hugely dramatic clash involving title rivals Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton last season.
