Even before any wheels turned there was drama in Hungary, as on Thursday evening Red Bull’s petition to review the 10-second penalty handed to Lewis Hamilton in Silverstone for his controversial clash with Max Verstappen was denied by the stewards.
Less than 24 hours later, both Red Bull team principal Christian Horner and Mercedes boss Toto Wolff faced the media in the FIA press conference – and both had a lot to get off their chest.
