WATCH: On board for George Russell's stunning P2 lap in Belgian GP qualifying
George Russell lit up the dark skies above Spa-Francorchamps by securing a shock front-row grid spot for Williams on Saturday in Belgium.
Russell had provisional pole in Q3 before Max Verstappen denied him a stunning pole in a damp qualifying session, but the Williams driver will still start second having clinched his team a first front-row start since 2017 and a first front-row for them at Spa in 20 years.

Sunday will herald Russell's 50th Grand Prix start, with huge points on the horizon if he can keep his nose clean in tough conditions in Belgium.
