Charles Leclerc sealed a long-awaited third pole position of the season in qualifying for the United States Grand Prix thanks to an impressive late effort, putting him 0.130s ahead of a fast Lando Norris in second.

In what was an eventful Q3 session, Leclerc had initially secured provisional pole before Max Verstappen looked to have toppled his lap.
