We have seen some stunning drives in this 2022 season – not least Max Verstappen’s recovery in Hungary, after the Dutchman made his way through the field from a P10 start to stand on the top step of the podium.

Verstappen suffered a power issue in qualifying, hindering his final run and leaving him just 10th on the grid. But the reigning world champion masterfully carved his way through the pack with some brilliant overtakes, backed up by some equally brilliant strategy calls from his Red Bull team.

And now one of the most entertaining races of 2022 gets the Inside Story treatment from F1 TV. Using exclusive team radio and never-before-seen footage, we go behind the scenes of the Hungarian Grand Prix to find out just how the race unfolded in Budapest.

From passing his team mate Sergio Perez at the start, then the two Alpines and Lando Norris later, to undercutting Lewis Hamilton and overtaking Charles Leclerc twice after spinning at the penultimate corner, we get to hear Verstappen and Red Bull navigate their way through the field at the Hungaroring.
