The world of motorsport is in mourning this week after Sir Stirling Moss passed away over Easter weekend, aged 90.

The man known simply as 'Mr Motor Racing' was a giant of the sport, winning all kinds of races in all kinds of machinery over his extraordinary career, even if the Formula 1 World Championship ultimately eluded him.

In his later years he became known as much for his ebullient personality as much as anything else, but make no mistake, when he was racing, Moss was a master of his craft.
