WATCH: Verstappen leads the race start in Austria as Russell and Perez collide
There were mixed fortunes for Red Bull at the start of the Austrian Grand Prix - pole-sitter Max Verstappen got away cleanly to lead the race, but team mate Sergio Perez ended Lap 1 back in the pits after a trip into the Spielberg gravel.
P4 starter George Russell was the man in the thick of the action after the lights went out, briefly moving ahead of Carlos Sainz who ran wide at Turn 2. And as the Ferrari man reasserted himself over the Mercedes, Russell came under attack from Perez.

The two made contact as Perez went for an outside pass at Turn 4, with the Red Bull spinning through the gravel and dropping to last before heading back to the pits with apparent damage. Russell was subsequently handed a five-second time penalty for causing the collision.
