WATCH: Vettel crashes out of final practice in Hungary
On the weekend where he announced his retirement, Sebastian Vettel found himself in a spot of bother in Free Practice 3 at the Hungarian Grand Prix, as he backed his Aston Martin into the wall.
With treacherous conditions having plagued FP3, Vettel was heading through the Turn 10 left-hander on intermediate tyres – having set the third-fastest time at that point – when he lost the rear of his AMR22 and backed it into the wall, bringing out the red flags.

And although Vettel was unharmed in the incident, Aston Martin’s mechanics will be nervously analysing the car ahead of qualifying to check that all is well with the green machine.
