Winner: Lando Norris
Lando Norris may have arrived in Mexico trailing McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri by 14 points but it was the Briton who had the momentum having outscored his rival in each of the last four race weekends.
He then went one step further in Mexico, nailing a near perfect performance through Qualifying and the race to land a hefty blow in the championship fight with a commanding pole position and race victory that saw him snatch the championship lead by a point.
