Bottas debuts new Williams car in Spain

Valtteri Bottas gave Williams’ 2014 challenger, the FW36, its maiden outing in Jerez on Tuesday afternoon.
The car, which is running in a ‘heritage blue’ livery in Spain, went out on track with around an hour of the opening day of the test remaining and completed seven laps.
The former world champion team hope that the FW36, which features Mercedes’ 1.6-litre turbocharged power unit, will propel them further up the grid after a disappointing 2013 campaign in which they scored just five world championship points.
Bottas is scheduled to drive for the opening two days of the test before handing the car over to new team mate Felipe Massa for the final two days.
