With four teams consistently fighting for race wins, and Max Verstappen facing some tough competition, the latest episode of F1 Nation looks ahead to what should be an electric second half of the season.
Host Tom Clarkson is joined by 1996 World Champion Damon Hill to discuss the battles developing at the top of the standings. Reigning champion Verstappen currently has the lead, but is his fourth consecutive title in doubt? Can McLaren be considered favourites for the constructors’ crown? And how will Mercedes work with Lewis Hamilton in their final 10 races together?
Hill also provides insight into how Verstappen could approach the remaining races, especially as the RB20’s technical deficiencies grow more obvious.
McLaren, meanwhile, will be forced to deal with some different problems – choosing which driver to prioritise in the championship when both are proven race winners, and preventing the crucial errors they have made in previous weekends.
Also on the agenda is whether Carlos Sainz will be re-energised now his future is secure at Williams, and why Aston Martin could prove to be the perfect project for Adrian Newey.
