Ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, Montreal-born singer and songwriter Rêve has taken over the Official F1 playlist to get you all in the mood for this weekend’s action.
You can listen to the playlist here, which features her own song “Big Boom”, as well music from the likes of Disclosure, Tame Impala, Nelly Furtado, and many others. You can also read our exclusive Q&A with the singer by scrolling down below.

Favourite Driver or Team?
Lewis Hamilton, Team Mercedes! -
Do you have a favourite song to drive to?
I don’t actually have a driver’s license, which actually makes me the perfect passenger DJ. I have a whole playlist on my Spotify called “Rêve’s F1 Party” where you can find all of my favorite driving songs! -
What is something F1 and your music have in common?
F1 is all about high energy and electricity, and so is my music. -
What's the best thing about F1?
I love the way the city comes alive during F1! Growing up in Montreal, F1 always felt like the kick off of the summer. F1 allows the world to experience Montréal’s “joie de vivre” in its finest form. -
Just as the F1 drivers prepare for a race weekend, what do you do to prepare for your live shows?
It’s all about getting into the zone. The hour before each show is dedicated to getting into the right headspace to bring your A game. For my dancers, DJ and I, we get our bodies warmed up, review past performances and turn our favorite playlist on. -
Can you tell us a bit about your new music?
My new music moves your heart as much as it moves your feet on the dance floor. My ultimate goal is to create an experience that is transcendent and gives my audience a safe space to feel and escape. -
When will you next be touring?
I am currently on the road all summer long across Canada! -
Tell us a bit about the playlist you've chosen for this race weekend?
The playlist I’ve curated for the race this weekend is sexy, upbeat and fun – it really mirrors the feeling of F1 in Montreal. -
You could go to a gig with three people dead or alive, who would they be and what band/artists would you go and see?
In an alternate universe, Lady Gaga, Robyn, Cher and I would see Prince live.
