F2: Drugovich wins Bahrain Feature Race as Ilott cuts Schumacher's championship lead

MP Motorsport’s Felipe Drugovich took his first Feature Race win in Formula 2, and his third in total, as Ferrari junior Callum Ilott finished second to slice Mick Schumacher’s lead at the top of the standings to just 12 points, with three races to go.
Ilott had begun the day on pole but lost the lead to Drugovich, who had flown off the line, at Turn 1. The Brazilian wasn’t the only strong starter, as Championship leader Mick Schumacher made up five places when the lights went out to move from 10th to fifth.

The German produced a sterling recovery drive to finish the day in fourth, but an 11th podium of the season proved an overtake too far, with Red Bull junior Jehan Daruvala holding onto third for a first rostrum in F2.
The drive of the day belonged to Daruvala’s Carlin and Red Bull Academy team mate, Yuki Tsunoda. The title contender began the afternoon at the back of the grid, following a spin in qualifying, but magnificently made his way up to sixth, behind Nikita Mazepin.
