F3: Camara makes it three poles in a row in dramatic Imola Qualifying

Rafael Camara continued his phenomenal start to the 2025 Formula 3 season, achieving a third consecutive pole position of the year in a dramatic Qualifying session in Imola.

The TRIDENT driver left it until his final lap of the day to complete a 1:32.206, which was good enough to beat Van Amersfoort Racing’s Santiago Ramos to the Aramco Pole Position award by 0.236s.

Camara’s team mate Noah Stromsted continued his solid start to the season, as the Mercedes Junior Team Programme member finished third.

Tuukka Taponen also put in a stellar final effort to qualify fourth for ART Grand Prix. The Scuderia Ferrari Academy driver wound up just ahead of the Rodin Motorsport pairing of Louis Sharp and Roman Bilinski.

Another team mate duo followed as Ugo Ugochukwu and Noel Leon qualified in seventh and eighth respectively for PREMA Racing.

Right behind them were the Campos Racing pair of Nikola Tsolov and Mari Boya in P9 and P10, while Tim Tramnitz and Bruno del Pino ended up 11th and 12th, respectively, for MP Motorsport.

F3: Camara dominates once again to win Sakhir Feature Race

This means Del Pino will start from reverse grid pole on an all-MP front row in the Imola Sprint Race which is set to start 1005 local time on Saturday.
