There were spots of rain during the first practice session on Friday morning at the Hungaroring, but by the time FP2 got started it was time for full wet tyres when the first few brave souls ventured out on to the track.
After missing the whole of FP1 with a power unit issue, AlphaTuari's Pierre Gasly was the first out of the pits, with more soon following. It continued to rain throughout the 90 minute session but eventually it eased to the point where intermediate tyres were usable.
For the first time this year, a Ferrari topped the time sheets when the session finished, with Sebastian Vettel just ahead of Valtteri Bottas.
