RB have become the latest team to unveil a one-off livery for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix with Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson set to run a glitter-inspired colour scheme on their VCARB01.

The Italian team are no stranger to running a special livery having bedecked last year’s cars in so-called “speed streaks” in Vegas when they ran as AlphaTauri.

This year’s glittery blue and green livery was created in collaboration with their title sponsors Cash App and Visa that the team say “embodies the radiance of Las Vegas’ iconic bright lights and vibrant nightlife”.

RB CEO Peter Bayer said: “It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without a touch of glitter, and as the home of glitz, it only felt right to bring this livery to the Las Vegas race.

“It holds a special place in the team’s history as it’s where we launched VCARB earlier this year. Since then, creative collaboration with our partners has led to upstanding liveries beyond the norm, allowing us to disrupt the way we do things in Formula 1, as we’ve seen in Miami and Singapore.

“I look forward to seeing the VCARB01 shimmering under the lights on track.”

The glittery design will extend to the team’s garage while race drivers Tsunoda and Lawson will be wearing bespoke racing suits. The rest of the team will also have special kit too.

RB say local fans can get a glimpse of the livery before it hits the track if they head to Topgolf Las Vegas, where it’ll be on display on the driving range across the weekend.

The team are looking to build on their first double points finish of the season last time out in Brazil in a bid to come out on top in a tight fight for P6 in the constructors’ championship.

RB were sixth for much of the season, but were overtaken by Haas and then also Alpine, the latter scoring a sensational double podium in Brazil to jump three places in the standings.

Earlier this week, Sauber unveiled a flame-inspired livery for Las Vegas, while Alpine revealed they’ll be running an all-pink livery for the final three races of 2024, starting this weekend.
