Oscar Piastri's win in the Qatar Sprint brings the points gap to Lando Norris down to 22 points.
Oscar Piastri claimed victory in the Qatar Sprint from George Russell and McLaren team mate Lando Norris, having remained unchallenged from pole position.
The Australian won the 19-lap Sprint by five seconds and clawed two points back on title rival Norris, reducing the margin to 22 points with 50 still available this season.
Max Verstappen finished P4 having climbed up two spots on the grid but struggled with bouncing aboard his Red Bull again and he now sits 25 points behind Norris.
