George Russell is clearly not one to back down from a challenge. On Lap 5 in France he attempted to pass Williams team mate Robert Kubica around the outside of the fearsome 190mph Signes corner – but Kubica held firm and the British rookie ended up smashing a trackside marker board to pieces as he ran wide. 12 laps later, Russell regrouped and gave the move another go. This time, despite front wing damage, he made it stick. It was, according to the man himself "quite a hairy move" but also "the highlight of my race". You can watch both attempts above...
