Two-time champion Jarno Opmeer has returned to winning ways in Round 2 of the 2025 F1 Sim Racing World Championship, while Bari Broumand bounced back from difficult races earlier in the event to triumph during Round 3.
After Ismael Fahssi took victory in Round 1 on Tuesday, Origin RB driver Ulas Ozyildirim claimed pole position for the second race at the Shanghai International Circuit, while a shock during Qualifying saw Lucas Blakeley exit in Q1.

When the race got underway, Opmeer put pressure on Ozyildirim and Thomas Ronhaar up ahead and, while the lead changed hands more than once, it was Opmeer who ended the chaotic 28-lap encounter in P1, marking his first win as part of the Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing team.
Ronhaar was second for KICK F1 Sim Racing Team, with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team driver Daniel Bereznay third, Fahssi fourth for Williams Esports and McLaren Shadow‘s Alfie Butcher fifth.
Attentions then turned to Round 3 at the Bahrain International Circuit, with Fahssi lining up in pole position. Blakely made up for his earlier disappointment in Shanghai to snatch the lead on Lap 4 of 29 before Fahssi later retook the position.
When the top three pitted, however, the picture changed at the front, with Istvan Puki initially leading. Yet it was Broumand who ultimately sealed the victory for Scuderia Ferrari HP Esports Team, while Fahssi and Origin RB’s Tom Manley rounded out the podium in second and third respectively.
