Most of the fans in Monza will be throwing their support fully behind those racing in red this weekend. But McLaren’s Lando Norris is doing his best to win second-favourite status by wearing a helmet and boots inspired by his hero - Italian motorcycling god Valentino Rossi.
Norris met the nine-time two-wheeled world champion at the recent Moto GP round in Silverstone and it clearly made an impression, with Norris adapting his regular helmet design and driving boots in honour of the man they call ‘The Doctor’.
