MUST-SEE: Albon’s tyre parts company with the car after wall tap in Las Vegas FP3
Alex Albon may have ended up a promising P6 in final practice for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. But it wasn’t the end to the session the Thai driver would have wanted, after he clouted the Turn 5 wall.
Having shown promising pace in the third practice session at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, Albon appeared to go too hot into Turn 5, striking first the rear-front and then the rear-left corner on the barriers with five minutes of the session still to go.
